Me need coffee.

It's that time of week again.......

For me, every Wednesday morning marks the beginning of another hell  *ahem* news-day.

A necessary evil implemented to teach myself and my fellow classmates the tools necessary to be a competent-modern-journalist.

Picture the scene;

a class of approximately 40 students
 - all of varying capabilities of human interaction-
gearing up for a day of incessant phone calls, unanswered emails, technical difficulties and emotional warfare......EUGH I need me some coffee.

And what better way to receive my morning java than in this glorious chalice of bimboness:

*INSERT ANGELIC CHOIR*

A.Barbie.Coffee.Cuff.
Ahhhhhhhhh!

Does such a joy exist?
Never fear my fellow bimbettes; purchasing information is at hand.

The minute I saw this on one of my fave sites of all time, www.truffleshuffle.co.uk -
I died!!
I then came back to life, I then put my card details in STAT.

Seriously how could you not be cheerful in the morning with this jazzying up your usual Plain-Jane Styrofoam cup?

It's teeny blinged up spoon just cheers my lil barbie obsessed heart and don't even get me started on the shiny-pinky-sparkleness.

A must for any self-respecting pinkaholic this beaut is available for  £11.99 from the good folks over at truffleshuffle.

Bit pricey for a anti-hand-burnerer you may shriek.
But believe me - it will pay for itself in "ahhhh where did you get that??!" 's alone.

If eating apparatus's worthy of  Legally Blond are your wish then the site also has a range of lunch bags aaaaand if you really don't want to leave anyone in doubt of where your affiliations lie then they also have the cutest doll worthy t-shirts and jewellery eva.

 Happy Mornings!

A different kind of 'Holiday' shopping.

At this time of year most people are shopping like mad to get ready for Christmas and while I have also been partial to an enormous amount of gift purchasing I've also been buying some rather unseasonal items.

I am very lucky in that I am jetting off for Hogmanay again this year. (YESS!!)
I'm off to Tenerife for a week over the holidays to spend some time with my boyfriend and his family and I cannot wait! *insert eeeeeeeeee's!*

Winter up here in Scotland is fun for all of about two days and by then I am seriously starting to crave me some sunshine- suggest a week away and I am ON IT.

So while Christmas shopping I have been privy to buying the odd item for my hols which despite being a slight mind feck at this time of year is SO fun!

Of course summery holiday items are not as readily available at this time of year so if you are struggling to get your vay-kay wardrobe together online shopping is your friend!!

A particular favourite of mine and where I got these particular beauty's is River Island, year round this store stocks the funnest brightest clothes and the website has a permanent 'holiday shop' section making shopping all that much easier.

Of course you cant spend a week by the pool without some gorg bikinis and this one is, VERY!

Bright pastels and pink candy stripes will make this bikini very eye-catching in the Tenerife sun, it has a halter neck strap which can be removed if you hate tan lines obvs.
The blinged out seahorse on the top just adds a lil somethin' somethin'.
Very Malibu Barbie!

And of course you can always use some more bling-bling. Cue this baby:

I cannot wait to wear this, very Beyonce/J-Lo - nuff said.

Probably my fave purchase is this full length patterned jumpsuit.
Maybe not to everybody's taste but I think this will look very chic and be the perfect outfit to take me from day to night.

Just add some tan wedges and you are good to go.
Lurve it.
It was also a total steal at just £10 reduced from £40! HOLLA!

I also picked up this cute short flamenco style dress.

Just a disclaimer if looking at this dress on the website be warned it is muchas brighter in person, almost neon which I wasn't too keen on at first but whatevs I'll work it.

What really sold it for me is the adorbs skull detailing on the waist ties.

Cuuuute right? I love sugar skulls and thought it was a nice detail.

I just checked the River Island site and all of these items are still available in case you want to check them out.

If likewise you are catching some winter sun I wish you a fantastic get-away and if  staying at home I hope you have a wonderful holiday season despite the freezing temperatures here in good ol' Blighty.

Let it snow! Ha Ha ;)

Hugs,
Lauren

A Rocking Sunday Night.

My Sunday night has went a lil like this:

#1 I washed my hair....YAY. I loathe washing my hair - it takes too darn long to dry!
Dang crazy/coarse hair, I usually leave it to air dry but that tends to leave me looking a lil cray-zee plus I'll wake up the next morning and it's still wet!

Though using delish products in pink bottles makes the ordeal slightly less tedious.
Cue the Lee Stafford range, would you look at that packaging? PUR-DEE. Plus they smell amaziiing.

Don't forget my trusty Tangle Teezer, which cuts down the damage I used to cause my hair through the battle of the tangles a gazillion percent, plus it's super leopardy - what more could you want??

The 'Flat Iron Protection Shine Mist' (heat protector to you and me) smells soooo good. It has a kinda musky-powdery scent which might not be to everyones taste but I LOVE it so I slather this puppy on - good for the hair and the nose *mmmmm*

Maybe you're thinking 'what the hello kitty is on this chicks nails?' which leads me to numero 2.

#2 I had to fix my M&M.
Say whaaat??
I stuck a cutesy M&M cabochon that I got from Etsy on my nails last week but the 'm' rubbed off  *sobs*.
So I decided to repaint said 'm' back on......FAIL.

My lil gingerbread man is still super cute though right? I got him, again from Etsy, from a store called MinatureSweet , suuuuper cute.

Totally Rock 'n' Roll right? Hmmm sadly no, but that's what Sundays are for right? Lazy days to gear up for the rest of the week.....yawn.

Well I'm off to air-dry  sleep on my wet hair - hello Chewbacca in the morning. ;)

Hugs,
Lauren

Sparkly Princess nails!

Excuse the dingy cuticles and the attempted edit to hide such but I wanted to share these before I take them off.

Princessy nails!!

I am in LOVE with the 'kawaii' 3d nails you see on the Internet but usually compromise with just a big bow or such like instead as they are sliiightly OTT...even for my taste.

I always feel a bit better when I have my nails done, even if the rest of me is a total mess!

Unfortunately my natural nails aren't anywhere near as long as this so now and again I'll get a set of extensions on for that added bit of glam, though Ive had these on for weeks now and getting a bit bored.

Onto the next mini masterpiece now ;)

Welcome!

Welcome to BratzaBrunette!
A blog of all things pink, glittery and downright bimbo ;).
Well that's just me, a 22-year-old student journalist obsessed with all of the above hehe!
I know mature right? But I cant help it!
Hello Kitty, sparkles and anything Disney makes me happy, so whatever floats your goat right?!
In the doom and gloom of today’s climate it’s more important than ever to surround yourself with the things that make you happy and for a lot of gals (myself included) that’s anything pretty or glam.
I'm so excited to start this little venture as I read so many blogs and am always so inspired to pen my own thoughts plus I'm a total camera-hog so just love taking pictures of anything cutesy and girlie.
So I'll sure try and make it my business to share anything glitzy and glam that I may find on my travels to cheer your heart!
Hugs for now,
Lauren :)

Lil old me!
